Your responsibilities

What will I be doing?

  • Lead team in contract acquisition, review, and negotiation.
  • Develop efficient processes for contracting operations.
  • Prioritize upfront and clear communication in all aspects of introducing new products.
  • Report directly to Managing Director.
  • Uphold legal compliance and mitigate risks.
  • Align strategies with organizational goals
  • Collaborating with stakeholders internally and externally to align strategies and goals.
  • Identifying training needs and facilitating skill development within the team.
  • Handling team emergency escalations and addressing urgent issues.
  • Participating in departmental and management meetings, contributing to strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Efficiently manage entire employee life-cycle (hiring, coordinate employee holidays, manage absence, conduct performance talks, etc.)
  • Monitor and set plans to secure team goals and KPIs are met.

Your profile

What skills do I need?

  • Minimum of 6 years of relentless experience in contract management, procurement, or a related field, ideally from the incoming industry and with Nordic Destinations.
  • Proven track record of high-stakes negotiation with suppliers, securing aggressively favourable terms and agreements.
  • Deep understanding of contract law, procurement regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage high-performing teams effectively.
  • Superior communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Exceptional ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Uncompromising integrity, ethical conduct, and acute attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated conflict resolution skills, with a strategic approach to addressing and resolving issues within teams and with external stakeholders.
  • High level of written and spoken English; knowledge of a Nordic language is a plus.
  • In-depth understanding of the travel industry market and culture.
