Your responsibilities

What will I be doing?

  • Designing, creating and costing of proposals for clients – this will involve ongoing liaison with the client to ensure ongoing success of the project
  • Responding to RFPs in timely manner
  • Drawing up and updating operational itineraries
  • Ensuring all accommodation & ground services are booked in line with the client’s agreed programme & budget
  • Budget management including rate negotiation with suppliers to ensure we have realistic, winning rates
  • Invoice processing for suppliers and clients
  • Preparation and participation in site inspections and fam trips
  • Some overtime evening and weekends will be necessary

Your profile

What skills do I need?

  • Bachelor's Degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in hospitality or related field
  • Excellent Computer literacy - Proficiency in MS Office especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • Previous experience working in a DMC, events company or similar environment advantageous
  • Full drivers licence is an advantage
  • Ability to carry out various tasks efficiently, comply with instructions and work under pressure effectively
  • Proven ability to pay attention to detail
  • Team player
  • Flexibility in day-to-day job demands, remain focused when priorities and practices change
  • Be clear, concise and professional in all communications both written and verbal
  • Be resourceful and creative when faced with obstacles
