After breakfast, head to one of Ireland’s most impressive natural wonders: Giant’s Causeway, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Along the way, you’ll drive along the beautiful Antrim coast. Upon arrival, explore this spectacular geological site formed by 40,000 hexagonal basalt columns, the result of an ancient volcanic eruption, which still inspires many Celtic legends today. We continue to Derry, take a photo stop in front of the romantic ruins of Dunluce Castle, perched on the edge of a steep cliff. Arrive in Derry (or Londonderry), an iconic city in modern Irish history. Take a guided tour of the perfectly preserved ramparts of this 17th-century walled city, and delve into the significant events of its past, including those related to Bloody Sunday. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Derry.

Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for the centre of the island to visit the monastic site of Clonmacnoise, founded in the sixth century on the banks of the River Shannon. This spiritual site, with its high Celtic crosses, round towers and ruins steeped in history, is a Mecca of Christianity in Ireland. We continue to Kilbeggan, where you’ll visit the famous Locke’s Distillery, one of the oldest whiskey distilleries in the country still in operation.
