Day 2
After breakfast at the hotel, take a panoramic tour to discover the main sights of the city, such as Trinity College – the oldest university in Ireland, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Dublin Castle. Then head north towards Belfast. Along the way, you'll discover several filming locations in beautiful County Down and the Mourne Mountains. Visit Inch Abbey, then on to Castle Ward for a visit to its historic Mansion, farmyard and the clock tower used as a backdrop to many filming locations. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Co. After breakfast, depart to the Linen Mill Studios, located in Banbridge. Once a bustling linen mill factory, first constructed in the 1900s now converted into the famous studio tour. Immerse yourself as you explore what the studios have to offer as you step inside the original filming sets. After breakfast, depart for the beautiful Antrim coast. Visit The Dark Hedges and then continue to one of Ireland's most impressive natural wonders: the Giant's Causeway, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Upon arrival, explore this spectacular geological site formed by 40,000 hexagonal basalt columns, the result of an ancient volcanic eruption, which still inspires many Celtic legends today. After visiting the romantic ruins of Dunluce Castle. If time permits, photo stop at the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge. Dinner and overnight at the hotel Derry. In the afternoon step out of the movie magic to explore Giant’s Causeway, an area of 40,000 interlocking basalt columns, the result of an ancient volcanic fissure eruption.
