Arrival to London

On arrival in London, meet your English-speaking guide and driver. Panoramic tour of London on arrival for a total immersion. Comfortably seated on board your coach, admire the famous monuments of the capital: the Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, or the famous Oxford Street.

Day 2

Royal Day Out

On this special day marking the anniversary of the death of Queen Elizabeth II, travel on your own - like a true Londoner (see supplement) to Buckingham Palace. The London residence of the royal family opens its doors to you in a very special way.

On your own, accompanied by your personal audio guide, your Royal Day Out starts with a visit to the Queen's Gallery to see the exhibition 'Style & Society: Dressing the Georgians'. Later, visit the Royal Mews - modern cards, carriages and horses mingle to form the royal stables.

Lunch at leisure.

Your Royal Day Out continues with a visit to the magnificent State Rooms at Buckingham Palace, used by the King for official ceremonies and entertainment. Each room is furnished with many treasures from the Royal Collection, including paintings by Rembrandt and Rubens; sculpture by Canova; and some of the finest English and French furniture in the world.

Your day ends with a walk in the garden, with a splendid view of the Palace and its famous lake.

Day 3

Windsor Castle

Board your coach for a visit to Windsor Castle - the favourite holiday home of Queen Elizabeth II. Since William the Conqueror, royal families have lived here until today. You will discover its gigantic dungeons, the flats of the royal family, as well as the magnificent royal mausoleum.

Day 4

Blue Badge Day Trip

Day trip with your Blue Badge guide specialising in the history of the royal family.

Head to Westminster to visit its abbey, one of London's most famous religious buildings. The building was chosen to be the site of royal coronations and is also home to the tombs of British monarchs and historical figures from the last thousand years.

Lunch on your own.

To get to the Tower of London, you will board a boat for a mini cruise on the Thames with commentary.

In the afternoon visit the Tower of London and the Crown Jewels, officially known as Her Majesty's Fortress and Palace. Built in 1078, this square building with turrets served as a fortress, arsenal, treasury, mint, palace, refuge, and prison. You will see a collection of the precious jewels of British sovereigns and a collection of armour, including that of Henry VIII.
