Umeå

Vaasa
After breakfast at the hotel, take the ferry to Vaasa to cross over to Finland. Upon arrival, take a guided walk through the old town Skata and enjoy its colourful, decorated wooden houses and idyllic street views.

Kalajoki
After breakfast at the hotel, drive towards Kalajoki for a unique 2h snowmobile experience. This adventure gives you a taste of arctic coastal life and a flavour of the ice-covered winter sea. For this safari bring your curiosity and sense of discovery. Along the beachline and only a few kilometres out on the thick ice-cover of the sea you can meet local fishermen who are checking their nets that are under the ice.

Departure
Time to say goodbye to beautiful Lapland. Drive to Oulu for your flight back to Helsinki.

The food is produced locally, and the cuisine is as traditional as it gets.After lunch, head out for a guided sauna afternoon in Linnakallio. Of course, you will also get the chance to cool down with a dip in the pond by the sauna for a full-on authentic experience.Check in at Santa’s Hotel & Resort Sani before dinner and beer tasting in Sandy Kelt. The restaurant takes pride in its inhouse brewery, and the beer crafted with the very clean and clear water, filtered through the layers of sand in Kalajoki.After dinner, head out and try your luck with another Northern lights hunt.
