Arrival
Arrival at Kajaani airport, transfer to Lentiira, accommodation and meals. Sharing informations about the program.

Day 2
Snow-covered Widlife
After breakfast, a short warm-up snowshoe walk of around 1.5 hours to discover snow-covered landscapes, rivers and the diving cyncle. After lunch, we'll head off to the predator blinds to photograph the rare wolverine, also known as wolverine in Canada. We'll stay in the blind for around 4-5 hours, equipped with a dry toilet, sleeping bag and small heater. To get to the blinds, we'll walk on snowshoes and sledge the equipment. We'll return at night and have our meal. Accommodation at the inn.

Day 3
The magic of the Northern Lights
After breakfast, the morning is free, perfect time to enjoy the birds at the feeder or to walk along the river banks on snowshoes. In the afternoon, a new photo session of predators in the predator blinds for wolverines and perhaps wolves will appear. In the evening, after dinner, depending on the weather, we'll concentrate on watching the northern lights.

Day 4
Explore the wildlife
After breakfast, we'll take advantage of the opportunities nature has to offer us that day. We'll drive to Kuhmo for some landscape photos, as well as photographing diving ducks, whooper swans and goldeneyes.... In the evening, after dinner, depending on the weather, we'll be concentrating on the Northern Lights.

Day 5
Lookout in the wild
We spend the whole day on the lookout for wolves, eagles and sea eagles. At nightfall, we return to our accommodation and have lunch.

Day 6
Encountering the Finnish Caribou
After breakfast, we'll go in search of the Finnish caribou, the wild forest reindeer. This animal is typical of the Finnish forests, and we'll be travelling by vehicle and snowshoe if necessary. We'll make the most of the opportunities nature has to offer on this day. A day to take in the snow-covered landscapes and enjoy the birds at the feeder.
