Data Analyst – Support Role – Tour Partner Group

Your responsibilities

What will I be doing?

Develop new reports and dashboards in line with business needs. These will be in Power BI, Bold Reports or Excel depending on the requirements and will often require data to be extracted from a snowflake database.
Work closely with the business to understand their requirements and how the reports and analysis fit in with their business processes.
Highlight key findings in the analysis and present these to directors and wider teams as needed.
Work closely with the other departments – assisting them in accessing the reports and ensuring they understand the analysis provided.
Work with the database developers as required to ensure the required data is available in the database and that it is accurate.
Support the business with Adhoc analysis, budgeting and forecasting as needed.
Provide training to departments and individuals on how to use the reports and on general Excel and analysis skills.

Your profile

What skills do I need?

Knowledge of SQL or similar coding languages and experience analysing and aggregating data from databases;
Strong Excel, numeracy and analysis skills;
Attention to detail and accuracy;
Good time-management and organisational skills;
Good commercial understanding;
Good communication skills;
Fluency in English;
Knowledge of Power BI, SSRS or Bold Reports is a plus;
