Arrival in Oslo, and start of your adventure. Founded in 1048, Oslo sits on the country’s southern coast at the head of the Oslofjord. Transfer on own to your hotel, or choose an optional transfer. In the late afternoon, meet in the hotel lobby to meet up with your tour guide for the journey and your fellow travellers. Dinner on own. After breakfast, we depart from Oslo and drive along the scenic southern coast. Our first stop is at Vrangfoss Lock, the most impressive lock on the historic Telemark Canal, where your guide will introduce you to this unique piece of Norwegian heritage. We continue to Skien, the official starting point of the canal and the birthplace of Henrik Ibsen. On our way south, we stop in Lillesand, a charming seaside town known for its white wooden houses and peaceful harbor — a popular summer retreat for Norwegians.Upon arrival in Kristiansand, we enjoy a panoramic city tour. Highlights include the 17th-century Christiansholm Fortress, the striking Kunstsilo art building, the lively Fiskebrygga fish market, and a walk through Posebyen, Kristiansand’s Old Town, home to Europe’s largest collection of preserved wooden houses. After breakfast drive to Stavanger, making a stop in route in the idyllic fishing village Flekkefjord. Upon arrival in Stavanger enjoy a 3-hour fjord sightseeing on the Lysfjord, passing by the famous Pulpit Rock. Rest for the evening and dinner – at leisure. After breakfast, embark on a 3-hour guided tour of Gamle Stavanger (Old Stavanger). During the tour, you will see the monument Sverd i Fjell (Sword in Rock), which marks the Viking battle of Hafrsfjord when Norway was united into one kingdom. After breakfast, join a morning 2-hour city tour of Bergen. The tour included the venerable King Haakon’s Hall, the Rosenkrantz Tower, and Bryggen – a row of Hanseatic timbered houses with characteristic pointed gables facing the harbour, and the bustling Fish and Flower market, the city park, and the Grieg Hall – the concert hall of Bergen. After the tour, enjoy the return ride on the famous funicular up and down Mt. Fløien. Rest of the day and dinner on own – time to take in this charming town! After breakfast head inland for two of the most fascinating experiences in Norway, the Sogne Fjord cruise and the Flåm Railway. Drive to Gudvangen, where you will board the 2-hour cruise and sail the magnificent Nærøy and Aurland fjords. Upon arrival to Flåm, the famous Flåm Railway awaits. With breath-taking views at every curve, it will take you all the way to Myrdal, where you will take the train to Geilo, where you will stay for the night. Dinner and overnight in Geilo area at Ustedalen Hotel or similar.

After breakfast, drive to Torpo Stave church (outside visit) – one of the oldest stave churches and the only one in Hallingdal preserved on its original site. After admiring the old Norsk architecture, continue to Oslo. Enjoy some free time to soak up the capital one last time and finish any last-minute shopping." In the morning, meet your local guide who will take you on a 3-hour tour of the Norwegian capital, where you will see the Royal Palace, the National Theater, the Parliament, the Opera House by the waterfront, and the medieval Akershus fortress. There will be time for a pleasant stroll through Frogner Park (Vigeland Park) famous for the controversial sculptures by Gustav Vigeland.Return to the city and lunch on own before we continue to the port to board the overnight ferry towards Copenhagen and Denmark. Enjoy a large dinner buffet onboard with 1 drink per person (1 glass of water, or of soda, or of house beer, or of house wine). We recommend to pack an overnight bag with necessities for the overnight cruise, in order to avoid having to carry larger suitcases onboard, leaving luggage locked in the locked coach during the voyage. Departure from Copenhagen in the morning and cross the bridge between Denmark and Sweden to reach Malmö, Sweden's 3rd largest city, drive to reach Malmö, Sweden's 3rd largest city. Here we will make a stop to take a walk in the old part of the city, on the charming cobblestoned squares of Lilla Torg and Stora Torg. Lunch on own.After lunch, half day drive to reach Oskarhamn. Here we shall enjoy a walk in this charming town, and on the south side of the port we will sit on the 72-metres long wooden bench called Långa Soffan. It was built in 1867 and it is believed to be the longest of its kind in Europe. From the bench there is a panorama view over the harbor. Dinner and overnight in Oskarshamn at Home Hotel Post or similar.

Leave Oskarshamn, driving for a few hours to the town of Norrköping by the river Motala. A stop will be made here to enjoy a walk along the 'Industrial Landscape'. The entire area is integrated into the urban fabric of the city and features a number of bridges and pathways that offer spectacular views of the river and its dams and waterfalls.Also a leisurely stroll in the Carl Johan Park, urban park with stunning cactus. Time on own for lunch before continuing the day, driving a couple of hours northwards to Stockholm, capital of Sweden. Overnight in Stockholm city center at Scandic Wallin Hotel or similar.
