Edinburgh

On today’s excursion there is the possibility to visit the Scottish capital Edinburgh. Explore the city on a guided sightseeing tour covering famous sights such as the Edinburgh Castle and Princes Street. Afterwards there is the possibility to visit the magnificent Palace of Holyroodhouse, which is Her Majesty The Queen’s official residence in Scotland.

Culross & Highland Folks Museum

Starting today's program is a visit to the historic city of Culross, the most comprehensive example of a Scottish free city of the 17th and 18th centuries. Afterwards there is the possibility to stop in the vicinity of Perth, to have lunch and watch Scottish highland cattle. From there continue to the Highland Folk Museum and be transported back in time on a journey into the 18th century. 2 overnight stays including breakfast in the Newtonmore area

Culloden Battlefield, Cawdor Castle & Malk Whisky Trail

Today there will be time to visit the Culloden Battlefield as well as the romantic Cawdor Castle, the 14th century home of the Thanes of Cawdor. Afterwards follow the unique Malt Whisky Trail and get insights into the origin of the world famous Scotch whisky in one of the many distilleries. A taste of the Scottish national drink should not be missed.

Loch Ness, Clansman Centre & Glen Coe

Travel alongside the mystic Loch Ness and make a stop at the Clansman Centre in Fort Augustus to experience 17th century Highland life. Afterwards continue alongside the Caledonian Canal towards the dramatic landscape of Glen Coe. Overnight stay including breakfast in the Fort William/Oban area
