Ferry crossing

Start the tour by travelling to the harbour cities of Calais/Dunkirk. From here the ferry crosses the English Channel in an hour and a half and arrives in the English town of Dover. Continue to the medieval city of Canterbury, which is known for its beautiful cathedral. Day 2

Eastbourne, Beachy Head & Brighton

Start the day with a visit to the seaside resort of Eastbourne and take the opportunity for a walk to Beachy Head, to admire the magnificent landscape. Travel to Brighton and become immersed in the entertaining atmosphere of the famous Brighton Pier while enjoying fantastic views of the sea. Afterwards there is the possibility to visit the exotic, fairytale-like Royal Pavilion palace, built in an Indo-Saracen style that impresses with Chinese decorations. Day 3

Stonehenge & Salisbury

In the morning visit Stonehenge. The mysterious pre-historic stone circle is one of the world wonders, but its purpose still stumps scientists today. Continue to Salisbury to see the imposing Gothic cathedral, famous for having the tallest spire in Britain, and finish with a leisurely walk round the village’s medieval houses. Exeter & Dartmoor National Park

After having breakfast, travel to the picturesque town of Exeter to see its magnificent medieval cathedral, which combines Gothic architecture and Norman-style towers to great effect. Afterwards, continue through the Dartmoor National Park - the wild heart of Devon - known for honey-coloured heaths and moss-covered boulders. St. Ives, St Michael's Mount & Cream Tea

Today’s excursion starts in St. Ives, for an exploration of the picturesque town and its little shops and galleries. Afterwards, there is the opportunity to discover the impressive island of St. Michael’s Mount and delve into its legends, myths and millennial-long history. There will also be an opportunity to enjoy a traditional Cornish cream tea.

Tintagel Castle & Clovelly

Start the day with a visit to the ruins of Tintagel Castle, which steeped in legend and mystery, is alleged to be the birthplace of King Arthur. Afterwards continue to the protected Elizabethan style fishing village Clovelly, which is privately owned. On either a self-guided or guided tour, walk down the sloping cobblestone streets past the rows of white houses to the idyllic harbor, and learn about the quaint village’s 800 year-old history. Bath

Spend the day discovering the beautiful city of Bath, home to elegant houses and the famous ancient Roman Baths. Take a stroll along the gorgeous Royal Crescent and explore many more historical and architectonical treasures, which are all part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Bath. Don’t miss the chance to visit the famous Bath Abbey, to find out about the ringing of the bells before climbing the 212 steps to the top of the tower for a spectacular view over the city.
