Vale Of Rheidol Railway & Caernarfon

From Aberbystwyth take the Vale of Rheidol Railway, which is one of the best ways to explore the stunning Rheidol Valley. Portmeirion & Porthmadog

Today’s excursion is to the dreamy village Portmeirion, which was designed and built by Sir Clough Williams-Ellis in the style of an Italian village. Settle-Carlisle Railway

In the morning head to Settle, a small market town where the Settle-Carlisle Railway sets off. It is one of the most popular tracks in Great Britain, as it takes passengers through viaducts, tunnels and past the wild scenery of the North Pennines, Eden Valley and Yorkshire Dales. Afterwards, take the opportunity to stroll through the old town of Carlisle. Overnight stay including half-board in the Carlisle area.

York Sightseeing Tour

Visit the city York, which is best known for its stunning cathedral, Roman and Viking history, and medieval character. Discover history at every turn while on a sightseeing-tour through the beautiful city centre. Afterwards, explore the Award Winning National Railway Museum which contains giant halls full of trains and railway legends from the past 300 years. In the evening the homeward journey begins to Hull, where the P&O night ferry starts off to Rotterdam/Zeebruegge.
