The first stop of the day is Neptune's Staircase, impressive lock system of the Caledonian Canal - followed by a drive along the legendary Loch Ness and visit the ruins of Urquhart Castle - opportunity for a leisurely boat trip on Loch Ness - stop in the capital of the Highlands, Inverness.

Cairngorms and Elgin: train ride on the Strathspey Railway through the Cairngorms landscape - Visit to a typical whisky distillery and a sheepdog a herding dog demonstration in the afternoon. Dunrobin Castle, whisky & nature: Drive north and visit the impressive Dunrobin Castle - followed by a visit to a whisky distillery or take part in a wildlife cruise on the Firth of Inverness. Cawdor Castle & Culloden: Excursion to Cawdor Castle with its colourful gardens - then continue to Elgin and the Culloden Battlefield.
