Arrival at Oslo

Welcome to the Kingdom of Norway – home to the most beautiful fjords on Earth! Arrive in Oslo and make your own way to the hotel (private transfer can be pre-booked in advance). Depending on your arrival time, you can start exploring the city: stroll along Karl Johan's Street, the royal family's city, with its many shops, bars and cafés. Meet your tour leader at the hotel reception for an informative briefing. Overnight at Thon Opera.

Oslo - Flåm - Sognefjord - Voss

Breakfast buffet in the hotel. Early morning departure towards Norway's fjord region. Drive through Hallingdal Valley past Lake Tyrifjord, with a photo stop at Torpo Stave Church (1200s). Optional: join the first-class silent electrical Sognefjord cruise from Gudvangen to Flåm, sailing through the UNESCO-listed Nærøyfjord. Board the famous Flåmsbana – one of the world's steepest railway lines – from Flåm up to Myrdal, winding through spectacular scenery, the Rallar Road, breathtaking waterfalls and 20 mountain tunnels. Continue by train to Voss. Overnight at Scandic Voss or similar.

Voss - Bergen

Breakfast buffet in the hotel. Departure to Bergen – the gateway to the fjords and a UNESCO World Heritage City. Meet your local guide for a 2-hour walking sightseeing tour, visiting the Hanseatic Bryggen, the Church of Mary, Håkon Fortress and the famous Fish Market. Optional: Fløibanen Funicular for panoramic views over the city and surrounding fjords. Remainder of the day at leisure. Overnight at Scandic Ørnen or similar.

Bergen - Sognefjord - Briksdal Glacier - Loen

Breakfast buffet in the hotel. Head north by coach, crossing the Sognefjord – Norway's longest and deepest fjord (204 km) – by ferry from Oppedal to Lavik. Continue to the famous cGlacier, an arm of the vast Jostedalsbreen Glacier set between roaring waterfalls and high peaks. Approach the Briksdalen Valley on foot (hiking shoes required) or by Troll Car (optional, extra fee). Dinner and overnight at Loenfjord Hotel or similar.

Loen - Geiranger Fjord - Troll´s Road - Molde

Breakfast buffet in the hotel. Departure to Geiranger for a 1-hour sightseeing cruise on the Geirangerfjord – one of Norway's most impressive fjords, dominated by towering rock faces and iconic waterfalls including the Seven Sisters and the Veil of the Bride. Drive north along the famous Eagle Road – 11 hairpin bends rising 620 metres above the fjord – before a short ferry crossing from Eidsdal to Linge. Continue to Troll's Road, an exhilarating descent of 11 hairpin bends with astonishing views. Ferry crossing from Vestnes to Molde. Overnight at Scandic Seilet or similar.

Molde - Atlantic Road - Oppdal

Breakfast buffet in the hotel. Enjoy the scenic drive along the legendary Atlantic Road – a masterpiece of civil engineering crossing bridges and dikes at the very edge of the ocean. Voted ‘work of art of the century’ by Norwegians and ranked among the world’s best road routes by The Guardian. Continue south to Oppdal. Overnight at Quality Skifer Hotel or similar.

Oppdal - Oslo

Breakfast buffet in the hotel. Return south to Oslo with a short stop in Lillehammer, the Olympic City, with some free time to explore. Continue along the shores of Lake Mjøsa, Norway’s largest lake. On arrival in Oslo, enjoy a 3-hour sightseeing tour with a local guide, visiting Frogner Park with the Vigeland sculpture complex, the Royal Palace, City Hall and Akershus Fortress. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at Thon Opera or similar.

Oslo - Stockholm

Breakfast in the hotel. Walk to the train station and board the high-speed train to Stockholm – a city surrounded by almost 25,000 small islands, set between Lake Mälaren and the Baltic Sea. Walk to your hotel and spend the rest of the day exploring at leisure, including the vibrant Drottninggatan (Queen Street). Overnight at Clarion Sign or similar.

Stockholm

Breakfast in the hotel. A taxi will collect you and take you to a small port for the Royal Canal Cruise – a wonderful introduction to Stockholm's 700-year history, grand palaces, cultural landmarks and stunning waterways.
